Social Order is a Los Angeles and Las Vegas–based trio blending melodic pop, post punk, and darkwave into a sound that feels both cinematic and intimate. Formed during the isolation of 2020, the band features Mason Musso and Anthony Improgo of Metro Station alongside Andrew Ward of Nuwave Fighters. Their music explores the tension between nostalgia and reinvention, light and shadow, intimacy and distance. They gained early attention with their debut EP How To Lie, followed by singles Worst Way, All My Life, Boys, and the EP Strangers, earning placement on Spotify’s Darkwave playlist and praise from Alternative Press and Post-Punk.com. Entirely self-produced and self-directed, Social Order maintain a strong DIY ethos. The band made their major festival debut at Cruel World and completed a North American tour with French Police in November, continuing to expand their shadowy, emotionally charged world.
