STRANGE LOT began as the bedroom project of singer/guitarist Dominic Mena in Phoenix before relocating to Austin in 2019. The band has since evolved into its current lineup: Dominic Mena on vox/guitar, Cameron Martin on drums, Levi Murray on bass, and Jason Desiderio on synthesizer and guitar. Their Greenway Records debut 7" features tracks produced by Alex Maas of The Black Angels, mixed by Jim Eno of Spoon and Dave Fridmann, and mastered by Howie Weinberg.After touring with Boogarins in 2024, the band capped the year with a performance on the headlining stage at Austin’s Levitation Festival alongside The Black Angels. 2025 has brought an official appearance at SXSW and two headlining tours across the US. In 2026, STRANGE LOT will head overseas for a Europe and UK tour, including a slot at Fuzz Club Eindhoven, before returning to Texas for a performance at Austin Psych Fest and the release of their highly anticipated full-length album, marking the next chapter of their immersive, psychedelic soundscapes. The band has shared the stage with The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, Kikagaku Moyo, LA Witch, and more.
